Stage Left Podcast, 3 September 2006
I'm a week late with this one, but it's a double-length episode. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Reviewed: The Broadway Musicals of 1949, Anne Kerry Ford's Weill, Maria Friedman's Now and Then, and the two latest releases in Silva Screen's Film Music Masterworks series, Film Music by John Williams and Film Music by James Horner. Interviewed: The Los Angeles based composer and lyricist team of Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner. They're responsible for the now-notorious "Happy Mornings" coffee commercial and are working on a stage adaptation of the film Secondhand Lions with Rupert Holmes.
