For some years now, Stage Left has been providing a wildly eclectic mix of music, comedy and the spoken word from the stage screen and "other, stranger places". For most of those years, it has been broadcast on public radio station KDHX here in St. Louis, Missouri.
Times change, and so do we (less hair for one thing..) and now Stage Left is a podcast featuring reviews of new (and not-so-new) albums from the worlds of stage, film and cabaret, as well as interviews with some of the artists who create those albums - and with anyone else we think might be interesting.
So for now I'm off to the studio to create some content. Tentatively scheduled for the first show: reviews of the soundtrack albums for Roving Mars and Peaceful Warrior, and a new CD single by Neil Norman and His Cosmic Orchestra.
Stay tuned for the first broadcast! And, while you're here, check out the official Stage Left web site for background on the show and playlists from earlier episodes.
