Eliot Unitarian Chapel presents a Friends of Music concert on Sunday, June 2, at 7:30 pm. The program will feature string quartets performed by young artists participating in the Arianna Chamber Music Festival (ACMF), an international summer festival in St. Louis dedicated to the intensive study of chamber music under the guidance of the Arianna String Quartet. Gemma New conducts the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra in a 2019/2020 Season Preview Concert on Sunday, June 2, at 3 pm. "Join the SLSO and Resident Conductor Gemma New for a 60-minute sneak peek of the 2019/2020 season highlighting selections from throughout the year. The matinee concert will explore musical themes from the 19/20 season crafted by incoming Music Director Stéphane Denève including the arch connecting French and American musical cultures, composers of our time, new concert experiences, and the music of dance. After the performance, you can visit with SLSO musicians, who can answer your questions and share recommendations for the upcoming season."
