St. Louis theatre calendar for the week of December 30, 2019

Mostly cabaret this week, as local theatres take a pre-January breather.

CSZ St. Louis presents The ComedySportz Show on Saturday nights at 7:30 pm. The show is "action-packed, interactive and hilarious comedy played as a sport. Two teams battle it out for points and your laughs! You choose the winners the teams provide the funny!" The Blue Strawberry presents Making Every Moment Count: The Music of Peter Allen with Robert Breig on Saturday, January 4, at 8 pm. "Robert Breig is thrilled to come back with his super-fun and spot-on Peter Allen cabaret show, after a successful run in St. Louis, Chicago, and New York. Robert captures the spirit, the moves, the energy and the life of epic singer and showman Peter Allen. To Oz and Beyond! " Rick Jensen is pianist and music director for the show. Beverly Brennan
The Blue Strawberry presents A Night With Day with Beverly Brennan on Friday, January 3, at 8 pm. "Join Beverly Brennan on a sentimental journey as Bev pays tribute to one of her idols, the incomparable Doris Day. The show will feature songs from Doris Day's big band days, her movies and musicals, and her amazing recording career. Bev will also share stories about Doris's life, which has been far from a bed of daisies! Hope to see you at our show. It's magic! And if you can't make it - Que Sera, Sera!"
