I'm reminded of that famous quote, generally attributed to Edison, about genius being one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration. Mostly, though, this is a reminder that acting is a skill like any other. Some folks learn it more easily than others and go farther with it, but it's still a skill that takes practice to master.
