The Lemp Mansion Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre and Jest Mysteries present A Dickens of a Killilng through January 27th, 2023. "Death is in the air as guests join Marilyn Monroe, Babe Ruth, Baaaaa Huuuumbug!!! Ebenezer Scrooge will be back to his old tricks and is bound to make a few enemies at this Christmas Party chock full of Charles Dicken's Characters. Just when Beep (The Minstrel) gets everyone in the Holiday Spirit, Scrooge barges in and starts talking about gruel. Geez, hope no one snuffs Scrooge out before he stops bellowing! Guests will dive into the fictious world of Charles Dickens and join Pip, Martha Cratchit, Oliver Twist, The Ghost of Jacob Marley, Tiny Tim and so many more in this cheerful murder mystery parody of a Holiday Classic. Whether you want to participate a little or a lot, you're sure to have a jolly good time, in jolly olde England, where there is sure to be "A Dickens of a Killing!" The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis presents The Snowy Day: A Glowy Snowy Experience Friday through Monday starting at 5:00 pm, January 6 – 9. “Mark your calendar to join us for a new and expanded adventure of The Snowy Day: A Glowy Snowy Experience! Experience an outdoor, socially distant, drive-through spectacle filled with giant illuminated puppets, glow-in-the-dark scenery and a podcast that tells the story of Peter, a young boy, playing outside with his friends during the season’s first snow. This revolutionary family event is an adaptation of the beloved classic children’s book, The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats and is in partnership with StoneLion Puppet Theatre.” The event takes place at the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park. The Theatre Guild of Webster Groves presents the comedy/mystery The Gazebo Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2 pm, January 6 - 15. “A writer of TV whodunits gets into a spot when his wife becomes the target of blackmail. The writer has to silence the so-and-so and find a place to hide the body. Having acquired at auction a gazebo for their suburban backyard, the writer and his wife decide to plant the blackmailer in its fresh concrete foundation. But it isn't long before the body turns up again! Soon the house is crawling with detectives and district attorneys, all looking to point the finger somewhere, thus casting the writer in a role he never expected he'd have to play: the suspect.” Performances take place at the Guild theatre at 517 Theatre Lane, at the corner of Newport and Summit in Webster Groves.
